Observations of Jupiter from NASA from the Hubble Space Telescope, Jupiter's ice satellite, have long revealed the existence of water vapor, although it is mysteriously found in only one hemisphere in Europe.

There is an area under the frozen surface of Europe that offers living conditions. The study broadens astronomers' understanding of the lunar atmosphere, also helping to lay the groundwork for future scientific missions into the Jupiter system to learn that this environment, located some 800,000 km from the Sun, could support life.

Narashi:

A recent analysis of the Hubble data archive revealed the presence of water vapor in the atmosphere of Europe, the frozen satellite of Jupiter. it's a smooth Europe with an average temperature of minus 135 degrees Celsius, marked by many cracks and crevices, and researchers suspect the ocean's surface is hidden beneath the surface.

Previously, the Hubble Space Telescope discovered 96km of water plumes that erupted as geysers. The results of a recent water vapor study over a larger area have created a long-lasting water vapor atmosphere in parts of Europe.

This new discovery laid the foundation for future missions to explore Jupiter's moons. Understanding the formation and evolution of Jupiter and its lunar system is expected to help astronomers learn about other Jupiter-like exoplanets in the universe.
